A Brazilian Butt Lift can mean different things to different people but a growing consensus suggests that it refers to enlarging the buttocks with a patient’s own fat. By performing liposuction to many different areas, including but not limited to the abdomen, flanks, thighs and arms, enough fat can be sterilely collected and then after purification, injected into the patient’s buttocks.
In this particular example, we harvested enough fat so that we could inject 645cc of fat into EACH buttock. While some fat will not survive, the hope is that at least 50% of that 645cc will live for a long time, providing the patient with a nice “shelf” to her buttock.
