Founder of BuildMyBod Speaking at ASAPS 2016!

LIVE-VEGAS-Header-MandalayBay-Noclouds-Fore.003605Dr. Jonathan Kaplan, founder/CEO of BuildMyBod Health, the platform that provides price transparency in healthcare, will be speaking in Las Vegas at the year’s biggest cosmetic surgery meeting – twice!

 

BuildMyBod Health allows consumers to connect with healthcare providers to check the cost of their care – before receiving that care – through an automated online Price Estimator. The consumer can check pricing either through the BuildMyBod App (just updated 2 days ago), the BuildMyBod website or through a doctor’s own website. Dr. Kaplan will be presenting the marketing effectiveness of online price transparency to his plastic surgery colleagues during two presentations.

 

Two presentations at ASAPS 2016

First, during Practice Changers at 10:05 am on Monday, April 4th, Dr. Kaplan will discuss how online price transparency has changed his practice. This talk is supported and arranged by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) in their Aesthetic Marketplace – the exhibition hall during the 2016 meeting.

 

During his second talk later that day at 12:30pm in South Seas A of the Mandalay Bay Conference Center, Dr. Kaplan will give a 1-hour presentation/instructional course entitled, “Make Your Website a Lead Generation & E-Commerce Juggernaut.” In this presentation, he’ll discuss how providing automated pricing information through his website, after a patient provides their contact info, has generated so many leads for his practice, with and without advertising.

 

During his first year in a new practice in San Francisco, Dr. Kaplan didn’t have a marketing budget. But he still received 412 “wishlists” of pricing leads from 208 consumers. During his second year, after gaining some traction, he started advertising to consumers that he had pricing information on his website. The results were astounding! He received 4,156 wishlists from 2,164 consumers! That’s huge lead generation. So much so that he has now built his email database of patients from 200 email addresses when he came to San Francsico, to 4,588 email addresses in just under three years!
