Rhinoplasty (nose job) with Septoplasty & Turbinate Resection
The nose can be reshaped by alterations to the cartilage and/or bone to give a more cosmetically pleasing nose. This would be the best procedure if you also have difficulty breathing through one nostril or the other (Septoplasty). Narrow bony structures in each nasal passage called turbinates (inferior, middle, and superior) boost the 'air conditioning' and air‐ filtering functions of the nose. If the turbinates are deformed or enlarged and impeding air flow, Turbinate Reduction surgery can be done in conjunction with a Septoplasty.
