Revision Breast Augmentation for Displacement of Implants (bottoming out, implants shifting to armpit)
Add to Wishlist Button
After breast augmentation, there can be issues with implants shifting, bottoming out or asymmetry. These issues can be corrected through revision surgery. If the issue is bottoming out of the implant, we will need to make an incision in the fold under the breast and use mesh to reconstruct the fold. Cost of mesh included in this estimate. If the issue is an overly large pocket, typically the incision can be made around the areola to hide the new scar if a new pocket needs to be created. Dr. Kaplan uses a new technique to fix the 'pocket' as opposed to an older, less reliable technique, that only uses sutures to correct the position of the implants. And usually, you do NOT need to replace your current implants to fix some of these issues. But if you do need new implants, you would add $1,850 to this price for a pair of silicone or $1,250 for a pair of saline implants. This price only valid when procedure paid in full at time of consultation.
